Johan is a skilled cinematographer based in Helsinki, Finland. Born to a Finnish mother and a Polish father, he spent his early years in Washington D.C., shaping his diverse cultural background.

Driven by a passion for storytelling, Johan is always observing the world around him, continuously striving to grow both in his professional career and in his personal life. His organic and human-centered approach is evident in hundreds of commercials as well as in the feature film Odotus. Johan Wasicki has been selected as the newest member of the Finnish Society of Cinematographers F.S.C.

In 2024, Wasicki was honored as Commercial Cinematographer of the Year at the Voitto Gala.
